Our current group of dedicated high school students, here to enhance your Trudeau experience.
Felix Chan is literally flipping out that he is your Student Council President for the upcoming year! As the President, he is the bridge between the students and the administrators, making sure that the student voice is heard and on top of this, he is also responsible for overseeing the entirety of the student council itself. Felix’s primary goal is to make sure your experiences at Trudeau are the best that they can be, often searching for more fun and unique ways to bring excitement to the school. In addition to student council, Felix loves to get involved throughout the school by joining many clubs, such as DECA, Cheer, CREATE and many more. One of his greatest hobbies is doing parkour, tricking and other flips, because of this passion, he was able to co-found Trudeau’s very own Martial Arts & Tricking Club, where anyone can come and truly express themselves! During the school year Felix may looked very focused but don’t be fooled, he is easily distracted and would love for anyone to approach him and talk about anything! Overall, he is a friendly guy and will be happy to give his own opinion or listen to anyone’s questions or concerns. Feel free to follow and message him on Insta @Felixxchann
Brice is just an average guy who is always down to answer questions you’re not asking. What tool best represents him, you ask? Haha thanks for asking. Well similar to his role as the Vice President, he’d be a vice clamp, something that holds things together to make your work easier. That sounds kind of strange but he’s one of the few students who actively attends staff admin meetings, he’s there to voice the student body’s opinion and bring up any issues they have. Now how does this relate to him being a vice clamp? Another good question! It doesn’t. I mean relating him to a telephone would be a more accurate analogy but it doesn’t sound nearly as cool as a Vice President being a vice clamp. Never be afraid to talk to Brice because he‘s definitely not afraid to talk to you, unless you’re handling spiders or something.
Victor is in the 11th grade, and cannot wait to begin the new year! He enjoys playing the alto saxophone and the ukulele, and is a diehard Toronto Maple Leafs fan. No matter the class or assignment, he will probably try to submit a slam poem. Victor believes that there is a bright side to every situation, and strives to help others whenever he can. Come say hi to him in the hallway!
Emily is in the 12th grade and is thrilled and honored to be your Senior Treasurer this year. Alongside Catherine, she manages the financial aspect of SAC through managing the budget, and making financial decisions. Emily loves to scroll through Facebook and tag her friends in memes, rant about politics on Twitter and hang out with her friends. She is also a strong and passionate supporter of animal and female rights. As her last year, she has learned through her incredible adventure at Trudeau that the school is filled with wonderful individuals and opportunities and encourages every Trailblazer to step out of their comfort zone and get involved. She wants to share the quote by Winnie the Pooh, “the smallest things often take up most room in the heart” and believes that Trudeau is filled with of small acts of kindness.
Emily loves meeting new faces so if you see an asian girl with medium-length hair, there is a 0.5% chance it’s Emily so come say hi! You can find her laughing with her friends, reach her at firstname.lastname@example.org and follow her @ithinkitsemily for a glimpse of her adventure!
Felice Chun is in the twelfth grade at Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School, and is honored to be your 2017-2018 Secretary Chairperson. Her hobbies include scrolling through her Instagram explore feed, dancing, eating good ice cream, baking cakes and listening to R&B and rap. Her favourite bubble tea order is Coco’s Pearl Milk Tea (thirty percent sugar less ice), but any tea will do. She is also an avid dog lover and never fails to squeal when she sees one.
Additionally, Felice strongly believes that every Trailblazer should feel welcomed - if you ever need a friend to vent to, don’t be afraid to flag her down or contact her! She is incredibly talkative and loves to listen too. You can find her on Snapchat and Instagram @fee_felice, or at email@example.com.
At school, Felice is probably in the crossroads hanging out with her friends, or (most likely) in the library trying to understand the foreign language of mathematics. Shoot her a smile and you will get one back. Let’s make the 2017-2018 school year a great one!
Joshua Marasigan is in grade eleven, and is this year’s student activities chair. His job is to organize events, spirit weeks and dances. Josh has many things to say about his coworkers this year, and is extremely excited to work with them. He thinks Felix is such a successful guy, and an amazing leader. He thinks Brice is the greatest role model in his life, and reminds him each and every day what it means to be a great person. He thinks Kelise acts as his mitochondria, and somehow, her mere presence is enough to give him so much energy. She’s like his second half. He thinks Victor is one of the most ambitious, most interesting people he’s ever met. He could also go on and on about how everyone on TSAC mean to him, but he’s limited to 150 words. Therefore, he plans to try his hardest this year to make sure everyone knows how he feels about them, live and in person.
Keerth (pronounced "Keith") Karunadeva is ecstatic to be the Communications Chair this year. He will work as a liason between guidance as well as care taking and all the departments to the rest of Student Council. His hobbies include playing both basketball and soccer at a VERY amateur level, but where he lacks in real life talent he makes up for in virtual talent and he will not hesitate to teach you a lesson in both NBA 2K and FIFA. He also enjoys hanging out with his friends and listening to music which is why you’ll most likely see him with earphones in, but please, do not hesitate to approach him with any questions or concerns because he‘d be happy to help. Lastly, Keerth doesn’t want to limit himself to strictly school related questions & concerns, he wants it known that no matter what it may be any student can talk to him about anything if they feel they have no where else to go.
Kelise Fullerton is a grade 11 student and your publicity chair for the upcoming school year. Kelise doesn’t really like writing about herself, so the next 120 words will be quotes from her favourite book Perks Of Being A Wallflower.
" We accept the love we think we deserve."
" And in that moment, I swear we were infinite."
" Things change. And friends leave. Life doesn’t stop for anybody."
" I would die for you. But I won’t live for you."
"So, this is my life. And I want you to know that I am both happy and sad and I’m still trying to figure out how that could be.”
“I think that if I ever have kids, and they are upset, I won‘t tell them that people are starving in China or anything like that because it wouldn’t change the fact that they were upset. And even if somebody else has it much worse, that doesn’t really change the fact that you have what you have.”
To start things off, his hair isn’t orange anymore. Venkat is a Grade 12 student at Pierre Elliott Trudeau and is thrilled to be your External Affairs Chairperson for the 2017/2018 school year. He does a lot of cool things, but if you really want to know what he does, just ask him. You’ll often find him either chilling in the crossroads, or running to class. This is his last year at Trudeau, so he aspires to make this school year the BEST YEAR IMAGINABLE for each and every student. There’s nothing much more to say about him, so if you’re interested in meeting him, don’t be shy and just say hi!
And for those that made it this far
Jehan Mohamed is a grade 12 student who has always been passionate about social justice issues and human rights on a global as well as on a local scale. She is extremely excited to be this school years equity chairperson at Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School and is looking forward to ensure equity within our school environment. Some of her responsibilities include developing equity initiatives, serving as a liaison between students and TSAC and advocating for the qualities of justness, fairness and impartiality to be embedded within PETHS culture. You will always find Jehan smiling and laughing and is extremely open to talk about anything and everything with anyone.
In her spare time you can probably find her dancing to Spanish music, watching or playing soccer or off debating somewhere with her Model UN buddies. Jehan can’t wait for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year!
Daniaal (pronounced Daniel) is a Grade 12 student who’s extremely excited to be your 2017-2018 Media Publicity Chair! He will help connect the student body with SAC events and initiatives through promotional videos, posters and graphic designs. His hobbies and interests include videography and editing, watching Game of Thrones and socializing with friends. He one day wishes to pursue a career in medicine. He loves animals so never hesitate to come up to him and show pictures of your dog (seriously). Daniaal is also a part of Trudeau SickKids, DECA and MSA, and is always available to talk to either in person or through social media, so feel free to approach him when you see him!
Jason is a grade 12 student at Pierre Elliott Trudeau and is excited to be your technology chairperson for 2017-2018. As a technology chairperson he is responsible for the SAC website, the crossroad televisions and any other technology SAC might have. In addition he will also be seen in many SAC events helping out or just having a good time with his fellow SAC members and his friends. In his spare time he can be found reading, running or going on reddit. Outside of SAC he is part of DECA, Trubotics and can be found working as a tutor at LogicFusion and Smart Abacus. Feel free to approach him in the hall to talk about technology, video games, physics etc... or to ask him any random question. He hopes to get to know you in the upcoming year and is sure that this year is bound to be a good one!
Catherine is a grade 11 student who‘s looking forward to being your junior treasurer for the 2017-2018 school year! As junior treasurer, she will work closely with the senior treasurer, Emily, to learn how to manage the finances of student council. Catherine loves the quote "Adventure is out there" from her favourite movie, "Up". She believes that all trailblazers should put themselves out of their comfort zone and experience great adventures! She enjoys binge watching shows, going on food adventures, and anything dog related! At school she can be found attempting to play the flute, helping out with club activities, or just having a good time with friends. She’s excited to see everyone having fun at TSAC events this year!
Andy is one of three grade 12 representatives for the 2017-2018 year. Along with Alex and Tony, Andy will make sure that the Grade 12 students’ voices and concerns are heard, and that they are putting themselves out there in and outside of school.
Andy has interests in many different types of things, and he is involved in clubs such as Trubotics, HOSA PETHS, and CREATE.
You will most likely find Andy in the music room practicing clarinet, something he does a little too much. Outside of that, he’s probably procrastinating by gaming, watching youtube videos, or eating. Most likely eating.
Feel free to talk to Andy about andything, andywhere and andytime!
Alex Do is one of your Grade 12 Representatives for the 2017 - 2018 school year. As a Grade Representative, he is going to listen to your thoughts, ideas, and concerns and bring them to the rest of Student Council. That means he is excited to hear what you have to say as he loves talking to people. Alex is someone who also likes meeting new people, so don’t be afraid of saying hi to him!
Alex can be found in different clubs like DECA (marketing) and Theatrics (he loves Drama class). In his free time he enjoys producing music (hip hop, trap) and sewing (enjoys haute couture).
Alex is always looking for new ways to improve himself and tries to keep a positive mindset all the time.
Tony Yang is your grade 12 representative for the 2017/2018 school year. He will act as the medium between the students and the student council, and strives towards creating an unwavering community of unified students. As the representative of the twelfth grade, Yang will endeavor to utilize the collective voices and opinions of the students to implement the most effective decisions, and to be an effective avenue of communication between the student population and the student council. Together in cooperation with the student body, he will aim to ensure an enjoyable, successful school year.

Allan Wu is looking forward to hear your voices as the Grade 11 Representative for the 2017-2018 school year. He will act as a medium between you and the rest of TSAC to ensure your ideas are put into their rightful places. He is also (or tries to be) very approachable is happy to talk about whatever may be on your mind, he‘s always willing to hold down a good conversation. In his off time, he enjoys hanging out with friends, playing sports and listening or playing music. His favourite artist is Chance the Rapper; so much so that he even named his cat after him! You’d probably be able to find him in the cafeteria, chowing down on some good pine tree, in the music room, trying to become half-decent at his saxophone or in the backfield, tossing a frisbee. He hopes to have an amazing 2017-2018 school year with all of you.
Harrison Gao is super stoked to be one of PET’s grade 10 Representatives! This year, his main focus will be to connect with as many trailblazers as possible, and to make sure that Trudeau always feels like one great big family. As the liaison between TSAC and the grade 10s, he promises to do his best at helping with any questions, concerns or suggestions about anything related, but not limited to Trudeau events or clubs. Harrison is described as a sometimes overbearingly optimistic young lad with a grin dumber than a box of rocks. Thus, he’s very excited to spread positivity and spirit to all trailblazers alongside his fellow representative Michael. During his free time you can usually find him deafening the entire GTA with his bass guitar, substituting Sci-Fi and video games for sleep, or starting a wildfire in his kitchen. If you ever see him in the halls or selling tickets at the TSAC booth, don’t hesitate to say hello!
Michael Zhang is absolutely thrilled to be your grade 10 representative this year! He will make sure that whatever questions or concerns you have will be heard in this school, so if there‘s anything you’d like to discuss about such as events, clubs, or the ladies, make sure to find Michael as he will gladly be there to assist you (he is an expert with women)! You will most likely find him at the crossroads bromancing with the other grade 10 rep, Harrison, or playing basketball outside on the court. If you do see him hooping, feel free to join and challenge him to a game of 1 on 1, but just make sure you strap up your ankles because you don‘t want those to be broken. If you see Michael anywhere, don’t be afraid to say hi as he will surely return back with a big smile
Lan Xin Ni Yang
Lan as a grade 12 student, is now finally your ELL Rep, (after a year of hesitating whether to apply or not, -_-|||). However she believes that “It’s not the future that you’re afraid of. It’s repeating the past that makes you anxious”, so it’s going to have some changes and adventures. She made a lot of changes over these few years, changing the color she like the most to dark red is one; changing the way she spends her free times to music, novels and movies is another one; and now she’s looking forward for the next change~~ （￣︶￣） (Here’s a challenge she prepared, figure out the meaning of this emoticon, good luck!)
Kathy Zhuang is thrilled to be one of the two ELL representatives in TSAC this year. Kathy is excited for her first year on TSAC and her second year in Trudeau. As an ELL rep, she works as a liason between ELL students and TSAC. She is striving to get more English language learners to participate in school events and make school a more enjoyable place for them. Kathy loves travelling, hanging out with friends, and sharing her own experience with others. She is an outgoing girl and a good listener as well. As a newcomer, Kathy can always provide you with her own experience since she has already gone through some of the difficulties that a new English language learner has to face. No matter if you speak English or Chinese, feel free to say hi to her and ask any questions you have.
